He/Him/His
Investing in yourself or your relationship through therapy is a courageous act. It may be a question of who you are, how to get to where you want to be, or maybe you have yet to identify what feels “off.” I am here to help you navigate towards a feeling of wholeness. Together we can analyze and uncover patterns, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships through new lenses to help you move towards well-being.
My style is compassionate and collaborative: we are working together to help bring you to a life that honors your emotions, experiences, sexuality, gender, race, ethnicity, and/or lifestyle. I take an integrative approach, incorporating psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioral therapy modalities–and while much of this work may often be serious, I believe it’s important to leave space for levity and irreverence for all of life’s gray areas.
I find fulfillment in serving a wide range of clients. My work often explores issues of identity, attachment, relationships, sex, and sexuality. I am also very familiar with the creative process and enjoy working with creative professionals. As a queer, gay man I am passionate about supporting other LGBTQIA+ folk as well as couples.
Originally from the Southwest, I spent a decade in New York where I received my master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Prior to this, I obtained my master’s degree in Interior Design from the Pratt Institute where I worked in design and branding for many years. This circuitous path has led me to understand that life is a process of twists and turns, and our best tool for navigating this journey is investment in ourself. Currently, I am working towards licensure under the supervision of Jenny Walters, LMFT, and Sarah Callender, LCSW.
I know that the first step takes an extra bit of courage and that finding the right therapist can be challenging. I am here to support you and offer a free consultation to determine whether working together could be a good fit.
