ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST (#146391)
She/Her/Hers
My goal as a therapist is to help you navigate life's challenges and transitions with greater clarity and confidence. Together, we will explore the patterns and strategies that have guided you so far—identifying those that may no longer serve you—and work to replace them with tools that empower you to live a more authentic and fulfilling life.
As a bilingual therapist, I bring empathy and a deep understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds to our work. I am particularly passionate about supporting children and their families in strengthening their relationships. As a parent to five diverse children, I recognize the profound impact that family dynamics have on shaping our children’s lives and believe in creating a space to explore these influences together. Additionally, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate significant life changes, such as moving to a new place, adjusting to a new role, or managing complex relationships. I also enjoy working with clients who feel stuck in old habits and are ready to make meaningful changes.
I practice from a humanistic approach, where the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of our work together. My approach is tailored to meet your unique needs and goals, focusing on helping you connect with your inner strength and wisdom. I am currently pursuing certification in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), with the goal of helping individuals and couples strengthen their relationships, gain deeper self-understanding, and heal from trauma.
Originally from Colombia, I’ve lived in Florida and New York before settling in Pasadena. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Pepperdine University, as well as an MBA and a Master’s in Education from Stanford University. My diverse background informs my approach, and I am committed to helping you find your path to greater self-awareness and empowerment.
